Imprynted by Richard Grafton 1550."; also lacking leaves 3T3-4. MS. notes and markings, including underscoring and fists. MS. verses and aphorisms, probably by Sir Henry Sidney and his wife, Mary, signed "Mary Sidney", "H.S." and "M.S.", dated 1551 on leaves 2R8r and 3k7v. Leaf 3T duplicated. Leaf ²3X1 torn, affecting text. Wormed, affecting text. Cropped, affecting headlines at end. Leaf ²3X6 backed. Provenance: possibly Sidney family copy (cf.
