Autograph copy in the hand of Edmund Spenser. The letter and poems were written on blank leaf m8 of Sabinus' Poëmata, and must have been intended to accompany another volume previously bound with the Poëmata, the Poëmata of Petrus Lotichius, 1576. Also included on the verso are Spenser's copies of two poems, "Joannes de Sylva ad Lotichium" by Jean Dubois, and "Fr. Artifex Athensis".
