Good Brother my Partner & I thanke you most hartily
for our Venison it came to the vpshote of my Partners
tiling. she hopeth the next yere to see my mother you &
my Suster & euery body here, I thanke you hartely
for my Leade it came in good tyme for gutters. my Partner
hath Sent you two sparehawks which were geven me &
commended to be of speciall Eyries nere the see as good
as euer fled & so I wish these may prove to you, &
against Michelmas terme I meane to aske howe they proue
and thus with my Partners duty remembred to my Mother
& our harty Comendacions to you & my Suster & Naunt Letice
& Blessings to Mal Robin, & my Nephew Lewis glad that
they prove so profound Schollers in so short a tyme
& specially litle harvy who in tyme may proue so
profound a clerk as his Diocesan. I Committ you,
& yours to the tuicion of thalmighty this 8 of Aug 1597
