  15. Contemporary German sheepskin binding blind tooled with panels. The outer panel is framed with a three line variable width fillet and the inner panel is formed by a four line fillet. The inner panel is divided into a diced pattern made from a three line fillet, filled with diamond shaped stamps of griffin, hound (Schwenke-Schunke Hund 30a), arrow pierced heart in a lozenge (Schwenke-Shunke Herz 100), large and small rosette stamps, and large leafy fleuron in a lozenge. In the center of the front cover is an unusual trefoil stamp. (5)
