  4. Covers are divided into four panels divided by a triple variable width fillet. The second panel is filled with a quadrafleur decorative panel stamp. The spine is divided into six panels framed with a wide and thin line gouge with a quadrafleur blind tooled stamp in the center. The second panel has gilt the title BIBLIA SACRA LATINE. In the third panel is gilt BASILAE 1493. The board edges and the turn-ins are gilt with single and double line fillets. (2)
  5. Covers are tooled with a three line border frame created with two blind lines and a single gilt line in-between. There is a gold tooled coat of arms crest with three horned stags and the motto "Nec spero nec Despero" tooled on both covers. The spine is divided into seven panels. All were originally filled with cones with crowning fillet stamps with gilt and blind lines. At some later date the third and seventh panel had a leather label adhered over the stamp and gilt with the title and date. The edges of the boards and the headcap are gilt with a single line fillet.   6. Covers are un-tooled and speckle stained. The spine is divided into five panels and elaborately gold tooled. The author and title are gilt on a red label. All the other panels are filled with repeated large tulip and pomegranate and rosette decorative rolls. The bands are tooled with dotted dogs tooth roll. The board edges are blind tooled with a wave roll. (3)
  7. Covers are un-tooled just speckle stained. The spine divided into five panels is elaborately gold tooled. The Author and title are gilt on a red label. All the other panels are filled with repeated large tulip and pomegranate and rosette decorative roll. The bands are tooled with dotted dogs tooth roll. The board edges are blind tooled with a wave roll. (4)
  8. Covers are un-tooled just speckle stained. The spine, divided into six panels, is elaborately gold tooled each tooled with a gilt double line fillet and double line pointille pallet framing all the panels. The title is gilt on a reddish/ orange label. All the other panels are filled with repeated large tulip and pomegranate and rosette decorative roll. The bands are tooled with dotted dogs tooth roll.   9. Covers are un-tooled, just speckle stained. The spine, divided into five panels, each elaborately gold tooled with a gilt double line fillet frame. The title is gilt on a red label in the second panel. All the other panels are filled with repeated large tulip and pomegranate and rosette decorative roll. The bands are tooled with dotted dogs tooth roll. The board edges are gilt with a covered rosette decorative roll. (2)
  10. Covers are un-tooled, just speckle stained. The spine, divided into six panels, is elaborately gold tooled. The author and title are gilt on a reddish/ orange label with an arched tulip scroll decorative roll across the bottom. All the other panels are filled with repeated large tulip and pomegranate and rosette decorative roll. The bands are tooled with dotted dogs tooth roll. (2)
  11. Covers bear a centerpiece made of gold tooled outer decorations (upper cover has the inscription "EX LIBRIS WFO ET AMICORVM") and a blocked blind scalloped fringe with two gilt globes within blind circles. The spine is divided into seven panels with the title in gold tooled in the second panel. Six dates are gilt at the bottom of the seventh panel. The binder's rectangular monogram is blind tooled on the bottom left turn-in of the lower cover and is flanked by the date 1955. (2)

Covers bear a centerpiece made of gold tooled outer decorations (upper cover has the inscription "EX LIBRIS WFO ET AMICORVM") and a blocked blind scalloped fringe with two gilt globes within blind circles. Title is gold tooled with lettering running up the spine. Blind tooled rectangular binder's monogram is on the bottom left turn-in of the lower cover and is flanked by the date 1955. Powell's note in ink, attached to the back pastedown: "PETITS VOYAGES ADDITAMENTUM BRVNONIS MS." Powell's designs emphasized minimal decoration and allowed the leather and other materials to speak for themselves. His approach gave much of his work a conservative richness. (1)
  13. Covers blind tooled in a panel design with the outer frame tooled with a thin double line fillet and a covered anthemion and tulip roll. The inner frames are tooled with a double cats tooth and single line decorative roll. In the inner panel is a trefoil and heart shaped scroll stamp at angles. The spine is divided into six panels; the second has a black leather label with gilt title. All other panels are blind tooled with faint corner braces and center fleurons surrounded by small stars and hollow dots. The turn-ins are blind tooled with solid and pin dot crosshatched roll. (7)
  14. Covers blind tooled in double panels formed with a triple fillet. Outer and inner panels joined by intersections, stopped at the inner panel by a single flower tool. Fleurs-de-lis at angles. Centered on the upper cover are the gilt initials "A" and "S." Above and below each band and at the head and tail of the spine are triple blind lines; top and bottom spine compartments bear floral stamps. On the inside square of the turn-ins is a double blind tooled line. (4)
  15. Covers blind tooled in double panels formed with a variable width triple line fillet. Outer and inner panels joined by intersections. A sunflower stamp is tooled at angles (lower right front cover stamp has an added small fleur de lys stamped on top of the sunflower). In the center of the inner panel is a blind stamped mandorla shaped strap work and floral cartouche with an oval center. Above and below each band and at the head and tail of the spine are variable width triple blind lines. On the inside square of the turn-ins is a variable width double blind tooled line. (2)
  16. Covers blind tooled to a four panel design, using a triple line fillet. At the corners of the outer border the lines are stopped by a "Y" pattern that links to the third panel. The outer panel is tooled with a hatched "S" curve roll. The second panel has staggered annular dots stamps. The third panel is filled with a repeated impression of a plant between cornucopia stamp. The center panel has four knotwork stamps at the corners and annular dots, there is a rhombus in the center made from the triple line fillet, and within the rhombus is a border tooled with a star cross stamp.   17. Covers blind tooled to a four panel design, using a triple line fillet. The first and third panels are linked with same fillet at the corners. The second panel is filled with a repeated guilloche stamp with a small rondel in the center. The center panel is filled with repeated impressions of a bar of crisscrosses that is 3.6 mm long and 6 mm wide. (2)
  18. Covers blind tooled to a four panel design, using a triple line fillet. The first and third panels are linked with the same fillet at the corners. The second panel is filled with a repeated knotted rope stamp. The center panel is filled with repeated impressions of a small knotted rope stamp. The spine is tooled with double pallet criss-cross lines in the panels. (2)
  19. Covers blind tooled to a panel design, using a four-line fillet. A three-line tool divides the center panel into four full and eight half lozenges, with a small star roundel stamped at each corner and at the place of intersection. The center of each lozenge is tooled with either a rebus or wyvern stamp. The inner panel and the outer border are linked by a two-line fillet. (4)
  20. Covers blind tooled with triple-line fillet panels and Saint roll borders, large and small fleuron stamps. Spine tooled with blind triple-line fillets on either side of bands and at head and tail. (5)
