  8. Each cover blind-stamped with a panel of two medallion heads of heavy-featured warriors, placed within a border of Renaissance ornaments. At the base two cupids hold a tabula ansata with the binder's initials, "M. D." The panels on the two covers are very similar but differ in a few details (Oldham HM.12 and HM.11). (1)
  9. Each cover is blind-stamped with a panel of medallion heads, Emperor with laurel wreath on top and warrior with helmet below, within a border of Renaissance ornaments. At the base of the panels are two cupids holding a tabula ansata with the binders initials "M. D." (Oldham HM. 12 and HM. 11). The spine is divided into four panels by blind tooled double lines. (1)
