  18. Gold tooled border frame tooled with a variable width triple line fillet and a "S" curve decorative roll. In the center is the coat of arms of the Duke of Roxburghe. The spine is gold tooled above and below and in-between the bands with wide and thin line pallets. The author and title is gilt in the second panel. The board edges were gilt with a single line fillet and the turn-ins are gilt with a fret decorative roll. (2)
  19. Gold tooled border frame tooled with acanthus leaf "S" curve decorative roll. In the center is the coat of arms of the Duke of Roxburghe. The spine is divided into five panels by a gilt double line fillet with a rosette vine in-between decorative roll. The author and title is gilt in the second panel tooled vertically from bottom to top. In the top panel is a crest of a bird atop a vase. The board edges were gilt with a solid and pin-dot cross hatched decorative roll. (4)
  20. Gold tooled in a double panel design with the frames built up of a dog tooth on a single line decorative roll tooled back to back. At angles in the outer panel is a gilt floret topped fleuron with a bottom cranze. At angles in the inner panel is a gilt fleuron with a berry on top. In the center is a large arabesque pointille centerpiece stamp. The spine is divided into 11 panels separated by dog tooth on a single line decorative roll tooled back to back with a gilt seven pointed flaming starburst tooled in the center of each panel flanked by small five lobe rosettes. The board edges are gilt with a egg roll. (2)
