  12. Gilt and blind fillet border. Blocked gilt cornerpieces of strap and floral work, with the Royal Arms, Garter, and crown blocked in the center. The six compartments of the spine (now disturbed) are decorated with a gilt one-line pallet and floral roll at head and tail. A gilt solid chain roll runs around the edges of each board. (1)
  13. Gilt and blind lines form an outer border intersected by blind and gilt lines to the central panel. Both border and panel are stopped by a small floral tool. Gilt blocked crowned falcon badge in the center, plus a fleuron at inside angles. Double gilt pallets divide the smooth spine into ten compartments with a fleuron in each. A paper label (Heber sale) is pasted at the bottom of the spine. A single gilt line edges each board. (5)
  14. Gilt and blind tooled in a double panel design, the frames tooled with a single gilt and single blind tooled fillet. A gilt "festive" fleuron with star bursts is tooled at angles in the center of the inner panel is a gilt trefoil centerpiece. The spine is divided into seven gilt panels all framed with double gilt lines. The title and author are tooled in the second and third panels. In the center of the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th panels is a small drawer handle floret stamp. In the 7th panel is a gilt stag above the date in roman numerals. The board edges are gilt with a clematis flower and gilt single line fillet. (2)
  15. Gilt and blind tooled in a panel design created with a single gilt fillet line alongside a variable width double line fillet. At angles are two different size acorn stamps the larger with stem and leaves. Also there is a gilt annular dot tooled between frames. The spine is divided into six panels. Above and below each band is a wide blind line alongside a thin gilt and blind line. The title, printer and date are gilt in the second and third panels. All others have a cone with crowning florets gilt stamp tooled in the center of the panels. The board edges are gilt with a single line fillet, and the turn-ins are tooled with two gilt lines with a wide blind line in-between. The binder's signature is gilt at the bottom front turn-in. (3)
