Endbands. Primary sewing over a rolled vellum support laced through the boards, head cap stitched over and under primary support.

Inscription on fore-edge "I Anthonini sũ: i: pars" reading from front to back cover.
End Papers: 
Four leaf smaller than text-block signatures sewn at the front and back with a recycled vellum manuscript paste-down.
Closures: 
Evidence of two clasps catching on the front cover. Strap plates still extant on the back cover and remnants of thick leather straps with no lining or reinforcements.
Decorative Description: 
Blind tooled in a simple panel design formed by triple line fillets. The inner panel is filled with a diced pattern. No individual stamps.
