Half alum tawed pigskin and beech wooden boards.
Sewn on two double cords laced into the boards.
End Papers: 
New handmade paper pastedown. Originally none, only loose vellum hooked guards, now encapsulated in Mylar and laced into the back of the book.
Originally one single center clasp catching onto the front board onto a rectangular catch. Only the back strap plate is extant.
Decorative Description: 
The narrow alum tawed leather is blind tooled with a narrow panel formed by a variable width triple line fillet, then the inside of the panel is filled with five petal rosettes and large Tudor rose stamps.
