Sewn with a long-stitch pattern through a thick pasteboard wrapper with a secondary thinner paper reinforcement at the sewing stations.
Headbands: 
Endbands of pink and white linen thread with a front bead over a tanned leather core laced through the paste-board wrapper.
End Papers: 
Two loose flyleaves and paste-down, all part of the first section. Same for the back with only one flyleaf.
Closures: 
Evidence of four tanned leather ties, two at the fore-edge and one at head and tail.
Decorative Description: 
Blind tooled in a panel design created with a triple line pallet following along a straight edge to create the panels and then following around a curved shape to create the corner arcs in the center panel. The second panel is filled with a repeated ropework knot stamp designed to link into a continuous pattern. The center panel has a diamond border filled with a small ropework stamp combined into larger shapes. The back cover is similar but without the diamond border. The spine has fragments of paper labels.
