Four clasps, two at the fore-edge and one at head and tail (all missing), with evidence of corner and center bosses with crenulated edges.

Decorative Description:
|
No tooling. The color of the leather and the metal furnishings were the decoration. On the spine there is evidence of author-title inscription and the remains of paper labels.
