No flyleaves, manuscript inner joint adhered under paste-down.
Closures: 
Two fore-edge clasps catching on the front covers, catches extant on the front cover, straps (reinforced tanned leather) missing were held with three iron nails.
Decorative Description: 
The binding is blind tooled in a panel design with a double line fillet, in the central panel on both covers a saltire has been tooled. Basileensis? is written at the top of the front cover partially obscured by an ink splotch.
Other Details: 
The leather covering was too small and has a sewn on corner. The spine was uneven so the binder pasted up off cuts of cord and adhered into a dip all along the edge of the spine prior to covering with alum tawed pigskin.
