Sewn on five single raised single supports. Only three supports were laced straight through the boards.
Pink and white linen thread with front bead.
Two flyleaves and double paste-down with bottom leaf torn away in an arc pattern.
Simply gilt with the coat of arms of the city of Dublin blocked in the center of the cover. The spine is divided into six panels with the abbreviation of the author and title and volume gilt on a red leather label in the second panel. The board edges are blind tooled with a arc filled decorative roll.
