Sewing: 
Sewn on four alum tawed supports cut off at the shoulders, then covered with an 8 mm wide strip of vellum that was sewn over the alum tawed supports to the text-block and were used to lace the text-block to the vellum covers through the joints.
Edge Treatment: 
Colored a light (lime) green.
End Papers: 
A four leaf section was sewn and one sheet was used as the paste-down.
Decorative Description: 
The cover was tooled to a two panel design with the frames gilt with a single line fillet. At angles in the outer panel are gilt fleurons. In the centre of the inner panel is a small gilt coat of arms of Queen Elizabeth I. The spine was divided into five panels with single gilt lines tooled above and below the bands. In the center of the panels is a small gilt acorn on a stem stamp. In the top panel is a later inked author and title.
