Decorative Description: 
The covers are gilt with a gilt decorative border built up of a fern-tip on a line decorative roll with gilt repeated impressions of a large annular dot with stem and a thistle on a feather tipped stem. The spine is divided into six panels. All are framed with a gilt variable width triple line at the top and bottom and a fern-tip on a line along the sides. The author and title are gilt on a green leather label in the second panel. The second and the fifth panel are decorated with a pointille diced design on green leather labels. The other panels are gilt with the large annular dot surrounded by feather tipped stamps, circles, dots, stars, and fleur-de-lis stamps. The board edges and the turn-ins are gilt with a fern filled inner curve decorative roll.
