Decorative Description:
The covers are blind tooled with a three panel design. The outer frame is tooled with a double line fillet and the inner two frames are blind tooled with a variable width triple line fillet. The outer panel has double lines tooled at angles at the corners and across the panel. The second panel is filled with a repeated impression of a renaissance motif and a six pointed star. The inner panel is diced with the double line fillet and the voids are filled with rhombus-shaped starburst stamps. The spine is divided into six panels with the title gilt in the second panel. The date is gilt in the fifth panel. The other panels are tooled with a crosshatched decorative roll and the renaissance motif stamp. The board edges and turn-ins are blind tooled with a single line fillet. The binder signed the binding in ink on the verso of the front flyleaf.
