Decorative Description:
The covers are gilt with a fern-tip on a line border with a wide crown and anthemion decorative roll (seven different crowns in the pattern). In the center of the covers is a blind tooled "star burst" stamp, impressed irregularly twice. The spine is divided into five panels all framed with a gilt double line. The title is gilt in the second panel. At the top and bottom panels and across the bands is a gilt hatched roll. The rest of the panels are gilt with a pattern built up of small floral tools. The board edges and the turn-ins are gilt with a decorative roll.
