Decorative Description: 
the covers are gilt with a single line fillet border and with the large blocked coat of arms of Sir Thomas Coghill stamped in the center of the covers. The spine is divided into six panel with single gilt lines tooled above and below the raised bands. In the center of the panels is a gilt cone with crowning florets stamp. The coat of arms is described as Helmet Esquire with a Crest: A cock ermine, Arms: On a chevron three roundels a chief.
