The covers are tooled with two gilt staggered pin-dot rolls and a triple line fillet border with an all-over design incorporating large and small drawer-handle tools, corner palmetto fleurons, stylized floral tools, volutes, dots, and rose stamps. The spine is divided into six panels with gilt staggered pin-dot rolls and a double lines tooled above and below the raised bands. The title is gilt in the second panel. The other panels are gilt with corner volute brackets and a stylized floral stamp in the middle.
