Decorative Description: 
The covers were tooled with a two panel design the frames are blind tooled with triple line fillets. Fleur de lis are gilt at angles in the outer panel. In the center panel are the initials I.P. H. and the date 1570, with a leafy S stamp in the center. The spine is divided into five panels with a green ink inscribed paper label in the second panel. All the other have a small gilt trefoil stamp in the center.
