Technical Description: 
Sewn on two recessed alum-tawed thongs. Single endpaper with three stubs put down onto the crimson satin board pockets by which the covers are attached to the book. Edges gilt and gauffered. Two very wide crimson fore-edge ties (now partly missing).

85 x 55 x 20 mm.
Decorative Description: 
On upper cover a stylized carnation. On lower cover a rose. Both embroidered with silver thread and colored silks in a tapestry-stitch. Base of plants and some flower centers stitched with French knots. Spine divided into three compartments filled with stylized flowers. Boards edged in silver thread gimp.
