Tooled to a panel design built up by a double line blind tooled gouge with a gilt single line fillet in the middle. At an angle is a gilt trefoil and tulip stamp. In the center panel is a gilt hatched strap work centerpiece stamp. The spine is divided into six gilt panels all framed with a gilt triple line gouge. In the second panel is a red leather label with gilt title. The top panel has the gilt stamp of a lion face over crossed swords surrounded by a floral curve stamp. All other panels are filled with a large columbine and leafy stamp with a bifolia at the corners. The board edges is blind tooled with a single line fillet.
