Decorative Description:
Blind tooled with a simple variable width triple line fillet border (tooled over later with a thin triple line fillet). In the center of the cover is a gilt rhombus shaped centerpiece stamp with faces at the top and bottom points, and with the coat of arms of James I in an oval garter belt. The spine is divided into seven panels with the author and title gilt on a red leather label framed with a gilt dog's tooth roll in the second panel. All other panels have a gilt cone with crowning floret stamp in the center.
