Blind tooled with three panels, the frames built of variable width triple line fillets. The outer panel is empty but the second panel is filled with a heraldic design decorative roll (Oldham, plate XLV, HE. a (10) # 742). The third panel is filled with a medallion head roll (Oldham, plate XLVII, HM. a(3) #772). In the center of the inner panel is a gilt crest of a lion holding a sheaf of three arrows. The spine (rebacked) is divided into five panels with the title gilt on a dark brown leather label. In the second panel the printer is gilt in the bottom panel.
