No. 118 was glued to a backing which had the play title written in pencil on the recto of the backing, backing has since been removed. Neither item is signed but no.118 has 'Wright fect.' written in pencil on the verso.

Subject: Both drawings illustrate the same scene. They show Anne Page standing near her doorway gesturing for Slender to enter. Slender stands shyly at right looking down at the ground with his right hand on his belt.
