Bust portrait, to right, eyes looking front. The ruled surface of the paper creates much of the texture and line of the portrait. The paper is torn especially around the edges, and has been glued to a backing (highly acidic, to be removed by conservation lab). Removed from frame 11/30/84. Signed lower right 'Sketch/Th: Nast'.
