2 3. m: An excellent sirop for a cough P Take 2 great pipins pared and cut in quarters & take out the coares & put them in a pint of Cleare cund et water & boile it on the fire to half a p in t then put in it 4 ounces of brown sugar candy beaten then boile it a littel more to a sirop and take a spoonfull of this when your cough takes you prooued line divider ^ 4. m: a medicine to helpe the hot rhume in the eyes Take a littel 6 s beere and heate it warme ouer the fire & with a fine cloth bath your eyes with it morning & euening prooued line divider ^ 5.m: a medicine to lay to a childs face that is briused or any other briuse to to swage it & take away the blackness Take a peece of fresh beefe & seeth it & when it is halfe soden take it from the fire pare away the outsid & lay it to the p ar ty as hot as may be suffred it will swage it & take away the blackness proued
