8 18: m: S A medicine for a sore breast Take a sheeps head with the woole & wash it very cleane an boile it in 3 pottles of water 3 houres together then take rice & som of that water & boile it exceedingly to the height of a poultis then aply it 3 or 4 dayes if the [brea] breast be not broken 3 or 4 dayes ne - uer the less then make this salue fowing line divider 19: m: S Take goates dung newly made in a cleane place drie it in an ouen after bread is drawne then beate it to fine poulder & mingle it with so much hony as to make it spread licke a plaister then aply it to the sore dressing it once a day you may keepe the poulder all the yeare to make the medicine when you please line divider
