20 the vertue of this plaister is this it is good for this oulde or new sores it drieth it cleanseth & breedeth good flesh it comfermeth it comforteh it healeth more in on weeke then any other in a mounth it will not sufer a sore to putrifie or any dead flesh or any ill flesh to growe for sinews cut briused or prickt w i th a thorne or other wise it is most excelent it draweth out of wounds iron wood or lead or the biting of venimuse beasts it wasteth all kinds of imposthumes or biles & will ripen them laying thaire vpon it is excelent against cankers or fistul├Žs the shingles & also a souaraigne helpe against all paines to asswage all aches & for all kinds of wounds as the author thomas porter hath by his owne experine found this is singalar & speciall for bones out of ioint as the par tys that haue vsed it haue sade they haue felte no paine nor weakness after & for foiles
