wine corrected 7 ounces, of the liquors of the splene of an ox 1 ounce
reduce them to a mixture & the dosis your draght is halfe an
ounce to be given morning & evening.

the powder of Elicompane roots, & one ounce of the powder of
licoras, & 2 ounces of the powder of anniseeds, & 3 ounces of
sugar-candy, mingle all these together & take it when you will
at all times of the day & you shall find ease.

Take two pints of tanners water, smalledge two
handfulls, shipsuet finely shred a quarter of a pound
Ry-meale as much as you shall thinke good, boyle it to the
thicknes of a pultis & lay it warme to the brest.

Take of rock allum, Romane vitreall each a pound
spring water 24 pound, boyle all to the consum=
tion of the 3d part. lay aside the water & take the resi=
dence, & make a powder, wash the sore in the water &
lay the powder thereon

Take the oyle of sweet Almonds, capons grease, fresh but=
ter, of each 2 ounces, Mallow's, Hollihock's, violet leaues
of each a good handfull, camomell, hysopp of each
halfe a handfull, bruse these hearbs well & boyle them with
a soft fire, for the space of halfe an howre, then straine them
hard out & annoint the party all his brest over & behind, &
wet a cloth in the oyle & lay it over it.
