Take rosemary and sage, red fennill, plantane,
Riblewort yarrow, sinckfeild, woodbyne leaues
the topps of bryars, wild tansey of each two
handfulls put all this into a gallon of runing
water and boile it to a pottle then straine it
and set it over the fire againe and put therin
halfe a pound of roch Allom beaten as much
honey and let it melt and straine it againe
and keepe it in a stone pot or bottle:
