After most harty recomendacyons/ to yow and my syster/ beinge very glad to heare that
yow and my syster are in good healthe/ which I pray god longe to. continewe/ by Richard
your servant I receavid your lettar and accordinge ther to I receavid of him xlli and
sertayne broken gold which I have bestowed in a chene of golde/ of the goodnes accordinge
to your lettar/ and yt is rather better golde then any old angell/ I do send yow the
rekoninge therof in apaper herin closid/ I trust yow will lyke yt very well/ your
broken gold beinge sold I thincke ther will remayne of yours in my power vis or
ther abowt/ which I wold have delyverid vnto rychard/ but for that I do not know
the Iust valew of yt/ I have don for yow herein as I wold have don for my
selfe/ yf I had bowght old angelles and put them to mackinge yt wold have stode

but I trust wher so ever yt shalbe my chaunce to marye/ that I shall have yow
and my syster with the rest of my frendes. wherof I wold be very glade/ and
god willinge yow shall have knolegge therof/ my mother hathe her comendid
to yow and my syster/ she is in healthe at this present/ which god continewe/ &
she is very quiet herein london. Vpon fryday next my mother/ my brother
frauncys saunders. & my brother beamounte wilbe here at dyner/ wher with I
wissche I wold yow and my syster were/ they shall have as good oysters as
any shalbe at byllingesgate/ brother yf I may do yow any pleasure here or
elles wher/ be yow assheweride of me to my power/ and this I comyt yow to
