I received. a letter. from Peter, & my Trunke vpon
wenesday last beinge the 19o: Ianuary: fast maled & all well;
I haue sould 900: & 50: busshels of Barly, which will bee as much
as will bee Thresshed & delivered this :8: weekes, besides what wee haue
already doone:/ 200: of it, I sould for 3s- 2d- the busshell; and
200: more; at 3s- 2d- ob: the busshell; & the other 500: & fifty;
for 3s- 3d- the busshell; for that is all the Corne I haue
sould as yett except 8- busshels of wheate, at 4s- 8d-/
The Barly strawe, & Beane strawe is bought from mee
as fast as I cann, haue it Thresshed as yett:/
one of oure strawe howses was blowen almost dawne, before
wee came heather/ which caused mee to send for Carpinders,
and they haue sett it vprite & layed a new seill
vnder it:/
My Brother Iames came heather to mee yester day
night, hee doeth remember his dutie to your. ladyshipp: & to
my Lady Vanloore; hee hath not broaught the oxen, for

Pigges are very scarse & deere, & soe are all kinde of
Poultry; I haue bought non of nither of them as
