Browse All : A gilt pin-head and multiple-line fillet, stopped at each corner, plus a blind lozenge floral roll, form a border to gilt floral cornerpieces incorporating a cockleshell. A gilt multiple-line fillet links the cornerpieces with a stopped blind six-line fillet edge. In the center is a large blocked gilt chantry. Second and fourth of six spine compartments gold tooled with title, author, and volume number; remaining compartments filled with gilt floral corner tools and center panels. Board edges and turn-ins gold tooled with an undulating fillet.
