Browse All : A panel design, with a fern-tip fillet used twice to form the outer border and once for the inner panel bearing fleurons at angles. A crown and the letters "CR" (for Carolus Rex) are stamped in the center of both covers. The spine is divided into eight compartments using a fern-tip pallet and diamond neuron. A pin-head roll decorates the edges of both boards.
